Kibra: Mariga Promises to Convert Police Stations into Small Business Centers

McDonald Mariga, a Jubilee Party candidate for the Kibra by-election, has promised to convert police stations into small business centers if elected.

Mariga made the announcement during his campaign in Kibra, stating that the area does not need police stations.

Mariga also promised to provide jobs for youth who were laid off from the National Youth Service (NYS) and to build a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) center in the area within six months of being elected.

However, Mariga's promise to convert police stations into small business centers has not been well-received by many Kenyans, who have expressed concerns about the impact on security.

Mariga's promise to convert police stations into small business centers has sparked debate among Kenyans, with some expressing concerns about the impact on security and others welcoming the idea of creating jobs and promoting entrepreneurship.
