On November 6, 2019, National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale called for the expulsion of Gatundu MP Moses Kuria from the Jubilee party, following his recent remarks that have painted the government in a negative light.

According to Duale, Kuria's comments were uncalled for and had embarrassed the government before the entire public. Duale emphasized the urgent need to get rid of Kuria out of the government, stating that he must be expelled for his disloyal and unfaithful behavior.

During a LIVE TV interview on Tuesday, Moses Kuria had clarified that the government was taking advantage of Kenyans through loans and exploiting them greatly. He described the government as traitorous and inconsiderate to its own people, stating that some arms of the government had committed outright treason to Kenyans.

However, the Majority Leader in the National Assembly is having none of it. Duale criticized Kuria for lack of respect for the government, insisting that he must be severely punished and expelled altogether from the party.

Duale pointed out that by Kuria saying that Jubilee has messed the economy and ruined it completely, he not only badly humiliated the government but also exposed it, quite negatively to the citizens of Kenya. He said for this, Kuria must be compelled to account for his silly outburst, adding that he must be forced to relinquish his positions in parliament and the budget committee where he sits.
