On November 6, 2019, Kisii Central Station police, accompanied by education officials, raided the Milimani Ramasha Academy in Kisii Central, arresting 11 individuals for alleged impersonation during the KCSE examinations.

Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha had previously identified Kisii as one of the country's examination cheating hotspots.

Area DCI Martin Korongo and Kisii Central Sub County Police Commander Zachary Kimani led the raid, which also resulted in the arrest of the school's deputy principal.

The school's head is reportedly on the run.
