On November 5, 2019, a joint operation by education officials and senior police officers led to the arrest of eleven individuals for alleged impersonation in the ongoing KCSE examinations at Milimani Ramasha Academy in Kisii Central.

Police from Kisii Central Station, led by Sub County Police Commander Zachary Kimani and area DCI Martin Korongo, raided the school early Tuesday morning and managed to apprehend the eleven suspects.

However, an unknown number of other 'students' managed to escape during the raid. The school's Principal is on the run, but his deputy was arrested for picking up the school's KCSE examination papers from the Sub County Headquarters.

The school, located in Kiogoro Division, Nyaribari Chache constituency, has been identified as one of the examination cheating hotspots in the country by Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha.

Due to the school's poor infrastructure, the over 100 candidates will be forced to sit for their practicals from their classrooms, as the school lacks laboratories.
