Published on November 5, 2019, Young Africans, a Tanzanian football giant, are in a crisis after a slow start to their domestic campaign and recent elimination from the Caf Confederation Cup.

Congolese coach Mwinyi Zahera is under pressure to keep his job, with reports suggesting he has been sacked.

Meanwhile, Bandari coach Bernard Mwalala, a former Kenya international, is among those mentioned as Yanga's next coach.

Several media reports in Tanzania indicate that Mwalala is already in talks with the Jangwani club.

‘He hasn’t said yes, but also hasn’t said no. Talks are ongoing,’ a report stated.

Mwalala led Bandari to a domestic cup victory last season and to the play-offs of the Caf Confederation Cup this campaign.

Should he make the move, Mwalala would unite with Kenyan goalkeeper Farouk Shikalo, who moved from Bandari to Yanga in July.
