Published on November 5, 2019, the Kenya Safari Tour golf series is set to return to Uganda for the fifth leg of the tournament.

Thirty Kenyan golfers, including Dismas Indiza, who leads the road to the 2020 Magical Kenya Open ranking with 190.6 points, will compete for a share of Sh1 million prize money.

The golfers will tee off at the Lake Serena Golf Resort Open Championship, which will run from November 6 to 9.

They will also gain points for entry into the Magical Kenya Open Championships slated for Karen Golf and Country Club from March 12-15 next year.

Justus Madoya, who won the fourth leg at Entebbe Open with a decent total of 9-under par 275 gross, expressed his excitement about the win and the competitiveness of the series.

‘I’m thrilled with the win and now look forward to the rest of the season with a boost of confidence. The fact that we have now had four different winners so far confirms that, indeed, the series has become very competitive. This is good for all involved as well as the fans and I believe that if we continue like this, the local contingent of players will be more competitive at next year’s Kenya Open,’ said Madoya.
