On November 5, 2019, Kenya Airways and Safarilink Aviation Limited signed a codeshare agreement to enhance travel experiences for passengers.
The partnership aims to connect passengers from Kenya Airways' network to 18 remote Safarilink destinations in Kenya and Tanzania, including Maasai Mara, Amboseli, and Zanzibar.
Under the agreement, Kenya Airways will include Safarilink destinations in their global sales and distribution network, allowing customers to book their full safari experience directly via KQ holidays.
Kenya Airways CEO Sebastian Mikosz said, 'This partnership will allow tour operators and travel agencies to create unique holiday packages, connecting from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Wilson Airport and eventually to their respective safari destinations.'
The partnership will provide daily scheduled flights to 11 airstrips in Maasai Mara and direct flights to other destinations, avoiding road transport.
