On November 5, 2019, we took a look at Kenyan men who went the extra mile to make their marriage proposal special. Some have already married, others are engaged.

Terrence Creative, alias Kamami, brought Nairobi's Kimathi Street to a standstill when he proposed to Milly, in what led to Milly being confronted by police officers. While she tried to sort out the matter, a group of friends pulled up with placards reading 'Will You Marry Me?'

Terence then worked as a creative director, while Milly worked as a floor manager at Churchill Show, where they both met in 2013.

On November 28, 2008, Lilian Muli was left grounded when she bumped into her later-to-be-husband, Moses Kanene, with a section of her colleagues, awaiting her with two parcels. Moses pulled a major surprise on her when he came in with a cake and a smaller box containing a ring.

He went down on his knee and asked the question every girl joyfully sheds a tear for: Will you marry me? He proposed. A tearful Lilian said yes.

Cece Sagini's boyfriend Victor Peace proposed to her on live TV moments after her debut performance. She said yes! The couple already tied the knot.

Earlier this year, Bien-Aime Baraza, a Sauti Sol singer, proposed to his long-term girlfriend, Chiki Onwekwe, at Westgate Mall. Bien hired out an entire cinema, went down on one knee, and popped the question to his Nigerian girlfriend.

Sharon Mundia, the stunning and award-winning fashion blogger popularly known as 'This is Ess,' got engaged to her boyfriend, Lonina Leteipan, a youth banking manager at Chase Bank, in May 2015. Her engagement entailed a chopper ride over Mt Kenya.
