On Sunday, November 3, 2019, a concert in Kibra was left in disarray after Tanzanian bongo flava star Harmonize failed to show up.

According to sources, Harmonize had been booked to perform as the headline act but had requested to be paid Sh 3 million upfront before landing in the country.

However, the Deputy President William Ruto's camp insisted on paying him on Monday, which Harmonize refused.

As a result, Kenyatta Hill, the son of the late Joseph Hill of the Jamaican vocal trio Culture, ended up performing for almost the entire time at Laini Saba in Kibra.
