On November 4, 2019, Facebook Inc unveiled a new logo to differentiate its company brand from its various apps, including Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
The social media giant announced that it would start using the new logo within its products and marketing materials, and would update the Facebook for Business website over the coming weeks.
As part of this effort, the company had already begun including 'from Facebook' within its apps in June 2019.
