The US Diversity Visa Program, also known as the Green Card Lottery, is closing its registration period on November 5th, 2019, at 12pm EST.
Registration for the DV-2021 program began on October 2nd, 2019, and has seen a massive response, with millions of people from around the world submitting entries.
According to the State Department, which runs the program, all entries must be submitted online at dvlottery.state.gov before the deadline.
The Department advises applicants not to wait until the last minute to submit their entries, as high traffic may slow down the website.
The Diversity Visa program makes 50,000 permanent resident visas available to nationals of countries with low immigration rates to the United States over the last five years.
