Published on November 4, 2019, Nairobi News reported that Tanzanian bongo flava star Harmonize snubbed a concert in Kibra on Sunday.

According to sources, Harmonize had asked for Sh 3 million to perform as the headline act, but on condition he be paid upfront before landing in the country.

However, the Deputy President's camp insisted on paying him on Monday, which Harmonize refused.

As a result, Kenyatta Hill, the son of the late Joseph Hill, singer and songwriter for the legendary Jamaican vocal trio Culture, ended up performing for almost the entire time at Laini Saba in Kibra.
