On November 14th, 2019, Namibia will host Seedstars World Windhoek, a premier startup competition, with the support of local host Green Tec Capital Africa Foundation, as announced on November 4th, 2019.
The competition is open to startups that have raised less than $500,000 in funding, have a minimum viable product, and demonstrate existing traction. Additionally, the Seedstars team is searching for startups with potential for regional and global scalability.
The winner of Seedstars World Windhoek will represent Namibia at the Seedstars Regional Summit and will have the opportunity to win an all-inclusive trip to Switzerland to compete at the Seedstars Summit for the title of Seedstars Global Winner and up to $500,000 in equity investments and other prizes.
After careful screening, the Seedstars team will shortlist around ten of the best seed-stage startups to participate in the training and pitching event on November 14th, 2019.
