Celta Vigo has parted ways with coach Fran Escriba, just hours after the team's 1-0 loss to Getafe at home on Sunday, November 3, 2019.
The decision was made following the team's fourth consecutive defeat, which left them 18th in the La Liga standings with nine points after 12 games.
According to a statement from the Galician club, Fran Escriba will not continue in charge of Celta, and the team wishes him and his coaching staff success in their future endeavors.
Under Escriba's leadership, Celta had managed to avoid relegation in March, but the team has struggled this season, securing only two wins, three draws, and seven losses.
