On November 4, 2019, Prisca Chanyisa, a 21-year-old resident of Karen, made a shocking claim against Deputy President William Ruto, alleging that he had used her for his selfish gains.
According to Prisca, she met William Ruto in one of Nairobi's leafy suburbs and exchanged contacts with him. She claimed that he later lured her into a physical relationship, and she has been trying to reach his wife Rachel Ruto to reveal her HIV status to her.
Prisca, a third-year law student at the University of Nairobi, expressed her frustration and depression over the situation, stating, 'It is unfair. Am depressed as we are talking right now. The man whom I thought will change my life turned out to be the hindrance to my destiny.'
