On November 3, 2019, Embakasi East Member of Parliament Paul Ongili, popularly known as Babu Owino, was admitted to a Nairobi hospital.
According to his official Facebook post, Owino shared a photo of himself lying in a CT scan machine, stating he was unwell.
“May God heal me because I must lead this nation someday,” Owino captioned the photo.
Although Owino did not disclose the facility he is admitted to, reports indicate he has been unwell for the past week.
His absence from recent political rallies organized by Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ahead of the November 7th Kibra parliamentary by-election has raised concerns.
