Published on November 3, 2019, Kapseret legislator Oscar Sudi has issued a stern warning to Raila Odinga, accusing him of meeting with Kirinyaga Governor Anne Mumbi Waiguru in a desperate bid to save the Kibra By-Election.
Sudi took to Facebook to express his outrage, stating that Raila's actions are a clear indication of his desperation to cling to power.
He claimed that Raila and Waiguru are 'thieves' who are working together to undermine the country's progress.
“Things are very interesting in Kibra. Raila has resorted to seek help from his fellow thieves as one of the desperate moves to save the Kibra seat from slipping out of hand. Even Waiguru? Truly thieves know each other. (Hata Waiguru jameni?.salaaaaale!… Kweli waizi wanajuana kwa vilemba). The same people who have failed to transform this country from 1970 are purporting to sell the same idea to people of Kibra ”
He also accused Raila of failing to deliver on his promises, stating that the economy is on its knees and that the country's woes started from the time of the handshake between Raila and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“Raila joined Jubilee government through handshake, we thought he would come with some skills to better this nation. But look now, the economy is on its knees. All these tribulations that Kenyans are going through started right from the time of handshake. Could this be confirming his uganga and juju? “
Despite his scathing attack on Raila, Sudi came to the defense of Deputy President William Ruto, urging Odinga to let him do his job in peace.
“Let ODM leave William Ruto to do his thing, DP has a track record to defend right the beginning of his political career. He has perfected the art of looking for his own money through businesses and also that of transforming the lives of local mwananchi,” he said.
