On November 3, 2019, Kenyan Premier League side Bandari FC suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of visitors Horoya AC in the return leg match of the CAF Confederations Cup, played at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani.

The lone goal was scored by Mandela Ocansey, securing a 5-2 aggregate win for Horoya AC and their qualification for the group stage of the competition.

Bandari FC, on the other hand, needed a 2-0 win in the match to qualify for the group stage, but their hopes were dashed after going down 4-2 in Conakry in the first leg.

With their Confederations Cup dreams now over, Bandari FC shifts their attention to the Kenyan Premier League, where they will face Western Stima this Wednesday at Moi Stadium in Kisumu.
