Polack Names Strong Gor Mahia Side for Motema Pembe Clash

On Sunday, Gor Mahia will face Daring Club Motema Pembe in the second leg of the Caf Confederation Cup play-off in Kinshasa. The Kenyan champions are looking to secure a win or a 2-2 draw to qualify for the group stage.

The two teams drew 1-1 in the first leg played at Kasarani a week ago. According to coach Steven Polack, the team has been preparing well for the match.

Polack has named a strong lineup, with Ivorian striker Yikpe Gislain making his continental debut. He will partner Nicholas Kipkirui in attack. David Mapigano starts in goal, while Joash Onyango and Joachim Oluoch will partner each other at the heart of the defence.

Wellington Ochieng will start at right back, and Geoffrey Ochieng' will be on the left. Tanzanian Dickson Ambudo will play on the flank with captain Kenneth Muguna, Lawrence Juma, and Tobias Otieno manning the midfield.
