On November 3, 2019, billionaire businessman Zedekiah Bundotich, popularly known as Buzeki, threw his weight behind ODM candidate Imran Okoth for the Kibra seat.
According to Buzeki, Okoth is the best bet for Kibra because he kept the constituency running smoothly when his brother Ken was away receiving treatment abroad.
This endorsement is seen as a strategic move by Buzeki to join Raila Odinga's camp ahead of the 2022 elections, after falling out with the Deputy President.
