Ugandan businesswoman Zari Hassan has made a shocking revelation about her financial situation, stating that she's broke after splurging millions on renovating her new mansion in Pretoria, South Africa.
According to her social media posts, Zari spent a staggering 1 million rands ($66,525.70 or Kshs. 6,868,778 million) on renovations and furniture alone for her new home.
She took to social media to thank the company, Splash Coatings Africa, for doing an excellent job on the renovations, praising their products for being a balance between premium quality and affordability, including environmentally friendliness, excellent finishes, and durability.
It's worth noting that the house itself costs nothing less than Sh30 million, as stated by a Pretoria real estate properties website.
Interestingly, Zari clarified in a recent media interview that the house she was living in before moving to her new mansion was for her kids and not her estranged husband, Diamond Platnumz.
She stated, 'First of all, let me clarify, the house belongs to our kids. Even though it is in his name, I was smart enough to seek investments that our kids can look on to considering the fact that they are in a foreign land. He can claim it, he has a right, if he wants to but I look at it as our kids' house.'
