Ruto Declares Raila's Kibra Seat a 'Bedroom' for ODM

Deputy President William Ruto has declared Raila Odinga's Kibra seat a 'bedroom' for the ODM party, claiming he has been ousted from the area.

Speaking in Nakuru, Ruto said he has issued a challenge to Raila, stating that he has lost the support of the people in Kibra.

According to Ruto, Raila's Kibra seat is now a 'bedroom' for the ODM party, and no one can issue a challenge to a 'bedroom'.

He was speaking at a political rally in the Salgaa area of Nakuru, where he also mocked Raila's efforts to seek support in Kibra.

"If you see someone issuing a challenge in their bedroom, and you know every man is a coward when it comes to their bedroom, then you know it's a bedroom... situation," Ruto said.

On Saturday, Raila had met with governors Alfred Mutua of Machakos, Charity Ngilu of Kitui, James Ongwae of Kisii, and John Nyagarama of Nyamira, who had all come to Kibra to rally their communities to vote for ODM.

Ruto claimed that Raila had lost the support of the people in Kibra because he had failed to serve them.

He said that Raila's failure to serve the people of Kibra meant that he had no choice but to leave the area and let another party take over.
