On October 25th, 2019, the community lost a devoted nurse and pillar of her community, Margaret "Maggie" Thogori Guchu, who had been living in Austin, Texas.
Originally from Kamahuha, Muranga County, Maggie was the daughter of Joseph Guchu Muiruri and the late Loice Waithira Guchu, and sister to several siblings. She was a beloved mother to Edwin Muiruri Gitau and Eric Kinuthia Gitau.
Maggie's warm personality and dedication to her work made her a cherished member of every community she lived in. She was an active participant in various social and investment groups, bringing people together and making a lasting impact.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched.
