AFC Leopards' quest for the top spot in the Kenyan Premier League standings hit a snag after they settled for a 0-0 draw with Ulinzi Stars at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos on Saturday, November 2, 2019.

The draw left Ingwe trailing leaders Tusker, who had earlier beaten Nzoia Sugar 3-2 at the same venue.

Leopards' Mark Makwatta had the first real chance of the game in the second minute, but his shot was easily handled by Ulinzi goalkeeper Timothy Odhiambo.

Benjamin Ochan, the Leopards goalkeeper, was in top form, denying Ulinzi's Elvis Nandwa in the 17th minute and later parrying Brian Birgen's effort in the 48th minute.

Despite the best efforts of both teams, the game ended in a stalemate, with both sides missing several chances throughout the match.
