William Ruto Mocks Raila for Seeking Help in Kibra ¶
Published on November 2, 2019
Deputy President William Ruto has mocked Raila Odinga for seeking help in Kibra, comparing it to a weak man seeking reinforcement in his bedroom.
Speaking in Nakuru on October 11, Ruto said Raila's move to welcome governors Alfred Mutua and Charity Ngilu to join the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) team in Kibra was a sign of desperation.
"If you see a man call for reinforcement in his bedroom just know things have become difficult. You all know when it comes to bedroom matters every man defends himself, don't you," Ruto charged.
Ruto exuded confidence that Jubilee candidate McDonald Mariga would trounce his opponents in the upcoming mini poll, saying the seat was destined for Jubilee.
The Deputy President claimed the Raila-led outfit was panicking and had resorted to desperate moves and allegations with no basis.
"We are firmly behind Mariga and we are confident come November 7 he shall be declared the winner in God's name. I want to tell you that things are hot in Kibra and that old man has been compelled to call for reinforcement in his bedroom," he added.
