On October 30, Rolf Rhodes, a Massachusetts resident, made history by winning the KSh 100 million state lottery for the second time in 18 months.

According to Mass Lottery organisers, Rhodes won the prize after purchasing a ticket at one of the shopping outlets participating in the KSh 400,000,000 Instant Jackpot.

He opted for the annuity option, which will see him receive KSh 5 million in gross payments annually for the next 20 years.

The store where he bought the winning ticket will receive a KSh 1 million bonus for the ticket sale.

This is not Rhodes' first time hitting the jackpot; he won a similar amount on May 22, 2019.
