On November 2, 2019, a video of a schoolboy from Narok county went viral, showcasing his impressive live reporting skills.
The boy, identified as Levis Saule, demonstrated a good understanding of the Mau eviction exercise and a mastery of the Swahili language.
He reported live from Narok county, branding his microphone with the Citizen TV logo and connecting himself to the studio, where he fed the audience with developments on the evictions.
Levis's report included accurate information about the leaders who attended the final phase of the eviction and the government's plan to plant 10 million trees to reclaim and restore the forest.
His impressive presentation caught the attention of Citizen TV's Director of Strategy and Innovation, Linus Kaikai, who revealed that the management was looking for him.
Linus Kaikai tweeted, asking anyone who had Levis's contact information to share it with them so they could meet him.
