Kenyan rapper Nyashinski is set to marry his long-time girlfriend Zippy Betty after a traditional dowry negotiation ceremony held at her parents' rural home in Itigo, Nandi County, on an unspecified date.
The Malaika hit singer and his lover exchanged gifts in what turned out to be a traditional wedding ceremony, a precursor to a white wedding to be held at a later date.
During the ceremony, Nyashinski expressed his joy, saying, 'This is possibly if not certainly the best day of my life.'
Also in attendance were Nyashinski's family, friends, and industry colleagues, including Nameless, Bien, and Savara of Sauti Sol, Big Pin, UB, and manager Fakii Liwali.
On November 2, 2019, Nyashinski shared his happiness with fans after the secret wedding.
