On Friday, Posta Rangers faced Mathare United in the Kenyan Premier League at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos. The match ended in a 0-0 draw, marking the third consecutive stalemate for Rangers.
Coach Sammy 'Pamzo' Omollo expressed his concern over his team's poor finishing, stating, 'This is the third game we're having a stalemate. We had two or three chances I think we should have buried but we didn't take them. It's a good thing we've kept three clean sheets in a row but now the homework is to finish.'
Omollo's comments came after the match, where Rangers had several scoring opportunities but failed to capitalize on them. The draw left Posta Rangers eighth in the table with 11 points from eight matches, four behind leaders Gor Mahia who have played three games less.
Mathare United's coach, Salim Ali, shifted focus to their upcoming match against champions Gor Mahia FC on November 6, saying, 'Next game we're not playing an easy team; Gor are the champions and have match fitness for but at the end of the day 90 minutes will judge us.'
