Published on November 1, 2019, the Kenya Handball Federation National League is heating up with top teams vying for the top spot. National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) and Nairobi Water will face off in a top-of-the-table clash at Kaloleni grounds in Nairobi.
Both teams have a 100 percent record in the league, with NCPB having won all three matches for a tally of six points and Nairobi Water having eight points from four wins.
NCPB coach Edna Kasandi expressed confidence in her team's ability to give Nairobi Water a good game, saying, "We have trained well and focused on new formations and tactics. We know our opponents are tough but we are confident that we will give them a good game."
Nairobi Water coach Jack Ochieng believes their perfect start to the season will come under serious threat against the-rivals on Sunday, saying, "NCPB is a great team since they always challenge us on speed and defence. It's always a tough match against them and Sunday's match will definitely be exciting."
Other matches scheduled for the weekend include Kenyatta University (KU) facing off against Mount Kenya University (MKU) Thika, and Black Mamba looking to add Kenyatta University to their list of casualties.
