Manchester United's trip to Bournemouth on Saturday is in jeopardy as Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire, and Victor Lindelof are all doubts due to injuries.
On Wednesday, Rashford scored a spectacular 35-yard free-kick in United's 2-1 Carabao Cup win at Chelsea, but he came off late on at Stamford Bridge with a knee injury.
United's medical staff will assess Rashford, Maguire, and Lindelof today before making a decision on whether they can travel to Bournemouth.
Despite the injuries, United are enjoying a revival, with three wins in a row on the road, and manager Ole Solskjaer is optimistic about the team's progress.
“It's still early,” said Solskjaer. “Hopefully we can get them back on the pitch tomorrow, they had some treatment yesterday, a little more treatment today, light session but I can't exactly tell you.”
United's revival is attributed to the progress they have seen on the training pitch, despite poor results early on, and Solskjaer believes that the team's confidence is getting better.
“The confidence is getting better, getting players back from injury helps,” said Solskjaer. “In football it's not every far from failure to success or other way round.”
