Kenyan singer Nyashinski has tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Zia Jepkemei Bett in a traditional wedding ceremony held in Nandi county. The exclusive event was attended by a selected group of friends and family.
According to reports, Nyashinski paid dowry and fulfilled other customary demands as part of the traditional wedding.
The couple has been dating for years, but they have kept their relationship private, with neither of them sharing photos of each other on social media or following each other on Instagram.
Among the guests who attended the wedding were Nyashinski's close celebrity friends, including Nameless, Sauti Sol's Bien and Savara, Big Pin, and talent manager Fakii Liwali.
Nyashinski was seen dressed in a purple outfit, a look that was a departure from his usual black attire.
It is not yet clear if the singer and his wife will tie the knot in a white wedding later.
Zia Jepkemei Bett is a fashion stylist and the CEO of her clothesline label, Zia Collection. She is also a businesswoman and has been a student of Daystar University.
Although little is known about her, Zia has been in the public eye for her relationship with Nyashinski, and the couple's marriage has brought an end to speculation about their relationship.
