President Uhuru Kenyatta's frequent foreign travels have sparked economic concerns among Kenyans, who are grappling with harsh economic times.

Since taking office in 2013, President Kenyatta has embarked on a record 93 international trips, with his latest destination being Botswana, where he will show solidarity with the newly elected President Mokgweetsi Masisi.

Notably, President Kenyatta's travels have been accompanied by the use of a luxurious private jet, which costs a whopping Sh1.8 million per trip. The jet is owned by a Dubai-based company.

Various leaders from across the continent attended the inauguration ceremony of President Masisi, including Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa and Zambian President Edgar Lungu.
