On September 21, 2019, Augustine Theuri, a resident of Thogoto in Kikuyu constituency, allegedly committed an unnatural offense against a pregnant pig at a farm in Kihunguro village.

According to the charges, Theuri had carnal knowledge of the animal without its consent, leaving the pig heavily pregnant and with whitish stuff on its private parts.

Theuri claimed that the pig had winked at him seductively, which he believed was a signal for him to climb on her. However, the owner of the farm and her employee disputed this claim, stating that Theuri had gone to the farm to inquire about buying buns but ended up having sex with the pig.

Theuri was rescued from the angry farm owner and taken to Kikuyu police station, where he pleaded not guilty to the offenses read before him. The court has set November 3 for mention and November 18, 2019, for the commencement of trial.
