Mr. Njiru emphasized that the family has official channels to release information about Mzee Moi's health, and that people should stop peddling lies and rumors about the former President's condition.
On Monday, sources close to the family revealed that Mzee Moi was admitted to The Nairobi Hospital on Saturday after developing breathing complications, marking the second time in two weeks that the 95-year-old former President has been attended to at the city hospital.
Mr. Njiru's comments come as a response to rumors circulating online, with some individuals claiming that the former President's death was being hidden from the public.
