On a fateful day in November 2019, Mike Mondo, a popular radio presenter, found himself in a terrifying situation after being mugged and left almost naked.
According to Mike, the incident occurred along Uhuru Highway, where he had just arrived in Nairobi from Mombasa.
He had boarded a matatu, but it developed a mechanical problem, forcing the driver to advise the passengers to wait for another car.
Mike, who was originally from Mombasa, decided to walk towards Nairobi West, but disaster struck when a few men followed him and robbed him.
As he was walking, Mike heard someone pulling him by his pants, and he was ambushed by three people who took him to the cemeteries.
He was stripped naked, leaving him with only a vest and boxers.
Mike recounted the ordeal, saying, "I told them that I had no job and that I was going home after a tiring day of job searching."
One of the men was holding a knife, and Mike was forced to walk from Makaburini to Nairobi West.
Fortunately, Mike was able to escape the ordeal and share his story with the public.
