'Sijawahi gonjeka STI,' Weezdom speaks, Diana Marua defends him

Published on November 1, 2019, a viral audio exposed gospel singer Weezdom to allegations of infecting a city lass with a sexually transmitted infection (STI).

According to the audio, the lass, identified as Quinter, told Weezdom that she had contracted an STI and was experiencing severe pain and bleeding.

Quinter's words to Weezdom were: 'I THINK I GOT AN I GOT AN INFECTION JANA. I HAVE A LOT OF PAIN AND SOME BLOOD NKISUSU. COZ IF ULINIUMIZA PAIN HAINGEKUA HADI SAA HIZI. THOUGH AM GUESSING… WILL TELL YOU ionce i come back from hospital.'

Weezdom has since denied the allegations, stating that he would have known if he had an STI and that his last sexual encounter was six months ago.

'If I had an STI I would have known already..the last time I had sex was six months ago….naogopa kifo [I fear death],' Weezdom said.

His denial has sparked a heated debate on social media, with some defending him and others calling him out for his actions.

Even Bahati's wife Diana Marua has come to Weezdom's defense, urging him to block the negativity and not let the devil get the best of him.
