Users of select Huawei smartphones outside China can now participate in the company's EMUI 10 beta program, which was previously limited to the Chinese market.
According to an update on Huawei's forums, the EMUI 10 beta software is available for devices in the Huawei Mate 20 family, including the Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20X, and Mate 20 Lite, as well as the Nova 5T, P Smart 2019, P Smart Plus 2019, and P30 Lite.
Users in Europe, Latin America, and parts of the wider Asian continent can enroll in the beta program by downloading the Huawei Beta app and following on-screen instructions.
However, it appears that the Huawei P30 Lite, which is popular in Kenya, is not currently supported in the beta program, at least not with the device in our possession.
Other Huawei smartphones, including the P30 and P30 Pro, are also set to receive EMUI 10 over the next few months, with the company's own timeline indicating that the update will be available by mid-2020.
