On Thursday, a devastating road accident occurred at Davision area on the Njoro-Mau Narok road, claiming the lives of four people.
The incident happened when the driver of a matatu, heading to Nakuru from Mau Narok, lost control while attempting to avoid hitting a child crossing the road.
Despite the driver's efforts, the matatu still collided with the child before rolling several times on the road.
The child died instantly, while three other people succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment at the Nakuru Level Five Hospital.
Several other passengers sustained serious injuries and are currently undergoing treatment at the same facility.
