Kenyan musician Akothee has cancelled her highly anticipated Rwanda concert, citing fears of arrest. The decision comes after she expressed concerns that her controversial personality and behavior may not be tolerated in the foreign country.
According to Akothee, Rwanda is known for its strict laws on responsible behavior and public image, and she fears that her actions may be seen as unbecoming and odd by the government officers.
She has been linked to loose manners and behavior, including the use of obscene language and over-indulgence in exchanges featuring vulgarity. Her mode of dressing has also been a subject of controversy, with some people finding it baffling.
Recently, she went viral in a video where she hit back at a man who claimed to have seen and smashed her private parts. She rubbished the claims, describing them as desperate, and boldly confessed that the man had no physical strength to sustain a quality sexual intercourse session with her.
She likened her love-making process to thunder, saying it was rigorous, violent, and combative. She also made it clear that she plays sex whenever she wills at whatever time she deems fit.
It is largely due to these excessive shows of mannerless behavior that Akothee expressed her decision to cancel the trip, arguing that the slightest exhibition of these behaviors in Rwanda would readily call for her arrest.
She added that the government of Rwanda is known for its impartiality regarding the implementation of justice, and that any slight form of provocation of whatever nature would translate into a change in the whole narrative.
