On October 30, 2019, Marcus Rashford emerged as the match hero in an epic Carabao Cup clash between Man United and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
With a stunning second-half free-kick, Rashford sealed a 2-1 win for Man United, sending the Red Devils to the quarter finals of the competition.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard praised Rashford's technique, saying, "It's great technique. We've seen Marcus Rashford hit balls with a similar technique. Whoever you are in the world they don't always go into the top corner."
Despite some controversy surrounding the goal, Lampard acknowledged that it takes "great technique" to score such a shot.
Man United will now face League Two outfit Colchester in the next round of the tournament.
