On October 31, 2019, the Tanzanian Government issued a directive aimed at reducing the number of street children and promoting responsible sexual behavior among adults.

As part of this directive, cohabiting and 'come we stay' relationships have been deemed illegal. Couples found to be in such relationships will be arrested and sentenced to jail terms for gross misconduct.

According to the directive, men will be required to formalize their relationships by performing a marriage ceremony, acquiring a marriage certificate, before impregnating and moving in with their partners.

"I urge you to ensure that you formally tie the knot before planning to have babies. Formalize in churches, mosque and registrar of marriage's office. All couples in come we stay relationships will be prosecuted," said a Tanzanian District Commission.

Wasafi CEO and Bongo tunes shaker, Diamond Platinumz, will no longer be able to sample East African Community beauties as he wishes without attracting legal repercussions.

He will be forced to marry his current Kenyan heartthrob or face the consequences.
