October 31, 2019 - Cristiano Ronaldo's son, Cristiano Jr, is making waves in the football world with his impressive goal-scoring record at Juventus academy.
The 9-year-old has scored an astonishing 58 goals in just 28 games, leaving many to wonder if he will follow in his father's footsteps as a top player.
According to Football Talent Scout, a Twitter account that monitors the best young players worldwide, Cristiano Jr has been a standout performer for the Juventus under-9s team.
His impressive form has also seen him record 18 assists since joining the academy in 2018, with his debut goal coming in September of the same year.
When asked about his son's progress, Cristiano Ronaldo expressed his pride and hope that Cristiano Jr will surpass him one day.
"I hope that Cris, my son, can be like his dad. He says he is going to be better (than me), but I think it's difficult," the 34-year-old said.
"I am very happy to have scored, for him too. He is playing for Juventus and adapting really well, it has been easier for him than for me," Ronaldo proudly remarked.
