On October 31, 2019, the Orange Democratic Party (ODM) announced the passing of Homa Bay Member of the County Assembly (MCA) Esther Dwallo.
According to the party, Ms Dwallo died after a long illness while undergoing treatment at the Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu.
"We are saddened by the news of the passing on of Hon. Esther Dwallo, a member of the County Assembly of Homa Bay after a long illness bravely borne," the party stated.
Ms Dwallo was a dedicated member of the party and an astute debater in the Assembly. The party prayed for her family during this moment of grief.
