On October 30, 2018, Tanzanian musician Ali Kiba took to Instagram to express his disappointment with fellow musician Diamond Platinumz for using his name to promote the Wasafi festival.
According to Kiba, Diamond had been using his name to promote the festival without his consent, which he found unacceptable.
"Don't spread rumors that you will later use to find. Men are only once deceived, now you want me to be quiet so that people know what you are doing even in that show, it will not happen now, I want a good show," Kiba wrote on Instagram.
It is not clear what exactly Diamond did to upset Kiba, but the two musicians have been at odds for some time.
According to reports, Diamond had been using Kiba's name to promote the Wasafi festival, which Kiba's team denied.
However, the move was met with skepticism by many, given the long-standing feud between the two musicians.
