On October 31, 2019, media personality Janet Mbugua appeared on Betty Kyallo's UpClose show, discussing her family, marriage, and career.
Janet, who has been married to Eddie Ndichu for a few years, acknowledged that marriage can be a challenging institution.
She also revealed that she left her job at Citizen TV because her firstborn son, Huru, was struggling to recognize her due to her busy schedule.
'I was going through a lot when I decided to take a break. I was going through burnout. I also did not have a relationship with Huru. Yes, I would interact with him but the nanny did most of the stuff. There is a day I wanted to hug him but he turned away from me,' she said in the interview.
Janet's home, located in a leafy suburb of a city, is a testament to her success. The well-manicured compound, complete with flowers and carpet grass, provides a serene atmosphere.
During the interview, Betty and Janet had breakfast on the balcony, which was neatly arranged. However, Janet did not allow the media crew to shoot inside the house.
