Manchester United Defeats Chelsea in Carabao Cup ¶
Manchester United's Marcus Rashford scored a double to help his team defeat Chelsea 2-1 in the Carabao Cup on October 30, 2019, at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea, who started the season with a 4-0 loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford, were on a seven-match winning streak before the match.
Michy Batshuayi scored for Chelsea in the second half, but Rashford's goals were enough to secure a win for Manchester United.
Manchester United's Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made several changes to his team, including bringing in Anthony Martial and Andreas Pereira, and the move paid off as Rashford scored his second goal in the 35th minute.
Chelsea's Callum Hudson-Odoi had a chance to equalize, but was unable to control the ball.
Manchester United's win secured their place in the top eight teams in the Carabao Cup.
