As the Kibra by-election heats up, Raila Odinga's ODM party has come out swinging at Jubilee's Tanga Tanga faction. ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna appeared on KTN's Point Blank, exuding confidence that the party is aware of the Kibra people's support.
However, Sifuna threw some shade at Jubilee's McDonald Mariga, a world-class soccer player who has passed through the hands of some of the gifted coaches like Jose Mourinho. Sifuna wondered aloud, terming it unfair with a sarcastic sympathy that Mariga has ended up being tossed around by political tin gods.
"It's unfair to be coached by someone of the stature of Jose Mourinho only to end up in the hands of clowns like Boni Khalwale." – Edwin Sifuna, on McDonald Mariga, October 30, 2019
Sifuna added that as a party, they have learned their lessons from previous elections and will not allow any shenanigans from the electoral body. ODM is going to remain vigilant in the Kibra by-election, and if the election is free and fair, they will win by a landslide.
