On October 30, 2019, a public spat erupted between Bongo music rivals Ali Kiba and Diamond Platnumz.
Ali Kiba took to social media to express his discontent after being invited to perform at the Wasafi Festival 2019, set to take place in Dar es Salaam on November 9.
According to Diamond Platnumz, all artistes were cordially invited to the festival, and he had personally wished for Ali Kiba's attendance.
However, Ali Kiba responded with a scathing message, telling Diamond not to involve him in childish games.
He also claimed that if he were to expose Diamond for his past actions, no one would attend the festival.
Despite the tension, Ali Kiba chose to take the high road and wished Diamond all the best at the festival.
