Published on October 31, 2019, Akothee's heartfelt social media post has sparked a call to action for the nation to turn to God in prayer and worship.

The self-declared President of single mothers, Akothee, expressed her concern that Kenyans have turned a blind eye to God, leading to a rise in negative energy and a sense of hopelessness.

She revealed that her inbox is filled with messages from people who are struggling with suicidal thoughts, and believes that the country needs to come together to pray and give thanks for the challenges they have faced.

Akothee proposed that Kenya dedicate a day or two for worship and thanksgiving, saying 'the devil is awake' and that God is trying to tell Kenyans something through the current events.

She concluded by saying, 'Just like we declare every day a holiday, let Kenya dedicate a day or two for worship and thanksgiving. The devil is awake.'
